The Kavango West police have arrested 14 community members on Sunday for allegedly damaging a farm’s fence and poles.

The suspects were granted bail after appearing in the Kahenge Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.

They were arrested at Gava village, and allegedly also threatened to kill farmworkers if they continued working on the fence.

Kavango West police regional chief inspector Raimberth Muronga has confirmed the incident, saying the suspects were granted bail of N$3 000 each.

The suspects are aged between 25 to 54.
