This year marks 25 years of Radiowave as Namibia’s leading English commercial radio station, and to commemorate this milestone, the station unveils a brand-new look.
Radiowaves rebranding signifies the station’s entry into a new era, and the rebranding reflects this sound and the future it is headed towards. This rebranding was undertaken with Radiowaves audience in mind, and that the station will continue to create feel-good, authentic moments to connect with people and make them feel.
Juan Vorster, General Manager of Broadcasting, shared, “Radiowave has grown immensely over the past 25 years. This rebranding was necessary to stay up to date with the times, popular culture and the ever-changing lives of our listeners and clients. This was also driven by our need to embrace the future, we needed a modern look that represents who we are now, not who we were 25 years ago.”
Radiowave is dedicated to making the “everyday” extraordinary, and Future Media recognised the importance of investing time and resources to craft a visual identity that aligns with the station’s growth strategy.
Gary Stroebel, Future Media’s CEO, stated, “As the leading commercial media house in the country, we understand that we operate in a constantly changing environment, and investing in our brands, like Radiowave, is a significant part of our commitment to embracing innovation and maintaining excellence.”
Radiowave is here to make the everyday “extraordinary”. To be the enemy of the mundane. The antidote to boring. The match to an explosion.
