THE 7th National ICT Summit presided over by the Minister of Information and Communication Technology (MICT) Peya Mushelenga, commenced today at the Mercure Hotel in Windhoek, Namibia.
Mushelenga emphasized the paramount importance of cultivating digital resilience, adopting best practices in cyber hygiene, and embracing the core principles of digital transformation in today’s fast-paced digital era. He urged stakeholders to re-evaluate their investments in cybersecurity.
The summit, which has drawn experts, professionals, and enthusiasts from various sectors of the technology and cybersecurity industry, is poised to be a platform for discussing, brainstorming, and strategizing on how to effectively safeguard the nation’s digital infrastructure.
The 7th National ICT Summit is expected to continue for the next two days, concluding on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Throughout this period, participants will engage in a series of insightful sessions, workshops, and discussions aimed at fostering a more secure and resilient digital environment.
