The National Commission on Research, Science, and Technology (NCRST) has taken a significant step towards improving organisational performance by implementing a performance agreement system.
NCRST Chief Executive, Professor Anicia Peters, recently signed performance agreements with the Commission’s Heads and General Managers, who, in turn, signed with their Divisional Managers.
“A total of 19 Performance Agreements were signed and the remaining employees will sign Performance Agreements with their line supervisors,” they added.
They said the signing of these Performance Agreements marks a crucial milestone in the operationalisation of a Performance Management System.
“It also plays a vital role in implementing the newly approved Integrated Strategic Business Plan (ISBP) for 2024-2029,” they said.
They further explained that these agreements are designed to hold all employees accountable for their contributions to organisational performance and ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations.
“We take pride in achieving this important milestone, reflecting our commitment to effective governance and strategic leadership,” they concluded.
