The Moroccan navy rescued 189 Senegalese migrants heading for Spain’s Canary Island in the Atlantic. A patrol boat of the Moroccan navy on Saturday intercepted a pirogue with 189 migrants and five bodies on board, which was having troubles in the waters off Guerguerat. According to the AFP News Agency, after receiving the first aid on the boat, the migrants were brought to the port of Dakhla on Sunday and handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for the routine administrative procedures. Among the intercepted, 11 were in critical conditions.
