FOUR men suspected of a series of robberies that plagued the Otjomuise area were denied bail in the Windhoek Magistrate Court.

The four men, identified as Ambros Hausiku (24), Pashona Katjingisua (28), Spencer Ndizera (27), and Injomoka Gipuna (23), were apprehended by law enforcement in Windhoek and subsequently made their first court appearance in connection with their alleged involvement in a series of six robberies. These crimes spanned across Windhoek, including three incidents in Khomasdal, two in Otjomuise, and one in the Central Business District (CBD).


They allegedly used a white Volkswagen Polo as their getaway vehicle in their illicit activities, and the said vehicle was impounded upon their arrest.

Subsequent to their court appearance, the accused men were denied bail and remanded in custody, awaiting their next court appearance scheduled for October 9, 2023.

The Windhoek City Police Service has encouraged the public to report any suspicious activities or incidents to the police. The police emphasize the importance of community collaboration in ensuring the safety and security of the city.
