President Hage Geingob received the African Energy Chamber 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award during the African Energy Week conference in Cape Town. The award recognises his efforts in promoting socioeconomic development through the growth of the energy sector in Africa. The AEC applauded Namibia’s good governance, which has encouraged investments and exploration.
