HARRY Balie Jerome Afrikaner, 29, was discovered dead by his girlfriend at Post Jakkalsdraai farm Riedenau in the Okahandja area. The farm is situated about 30 km on Okahandja-Cross Barmen Road in the Otjozondjupa region.
NamPol spokesperson Raimbert Muronga said the discovery was made around 08h00 on Monday. “It is alleged that the deceased hanged himself in a storeroom with a grey rope around his neck on a beam of the zinc house,” he said.
Muronga indicated that it is not known what exactly caused the deceased to commit suicide, and no suicide note was left behind.
