The extension of SIM card registration has resulted in a decline in individuals’ queuing up to register their numbers at mobile homes.
The deadline initially set for December 31, 2023, saw long queues as people rushed at the last minute to register their SIM cards.
However, since the announcement of the extension by the Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Dr. Peya Mushelenga, to March 31st, the once-flooded mobile homes are now literally empty.
At some stations, employees could be observed eagerly waiting for the next customer.
It appears the public is once again waiting for the last possible moment to register their SIM cards.
The telecommunications company continues to put convenient measures in place to ensure that everyone is registered on time.
