Netball Namibia held intense trials in the capital to determine the squad that will represent the nation at the Under 21 World Cup qualifiers in Pretoria, South Africa, next month. The selection process culminated in the naming of a squad comprising 15 players who will undergo intensive training ahead of the competition.
The Netball World Youth Cup serves as the ultimate platform for emerging netball players under the age of 21, offering them the opportunity to showcase their skills on the global stage. With the upcoming qualifiers serving as a gateway to this tournament.
The World Netball announced in August 2021 that Gibraltar Netball had been awarded the rights to host the Netball World Youth Cup 2025. The tournament is scheduled to take place across two main venues in Gibraltar – The Tercentenary Sports Hall and Europa Sports Park, both renowned for their world-class facilities.
