Boxing fans at the AC Boxing Promotions fundraising bonanza witnessed an electrifying night filled with exciting fights and entertainment.
The Junior Lightweight main event saw a dominant performance by Flame Nangolo, who knocked out Zimbabwean opponent Jeremiah Mhere in the third round.
Mhere started showing signs of weakness in the third round, and Nangolo capitalized on this, landing a decisive body shot in the final ten seconds of the third round to secure a quick victory.
The Lightweight bout featured Paulus Ipinge of JM Boxing Club making his professional debut against Ruan Rispel of AC Boxing.
The closely contested fight went the distance, with Rispel emerging victorious by a majority decision after four rounds.
The Lightweight clash between Hafeni Ngesheya and Nicanor Halweendo showcased the skill and tactics of both boxers. Ngesheya, however, dominated the fight with a consistent barrage of body jabs, punishing Halweendo throughout.
Despite a valiant effort from Halweendo, AC’s Ngesheya ultimately secured a unanimous decision win after six rounds.
While the organizers will reveal a detailed breakdown of the funds raised at a later stage, the event proved to be a success, as all the tables were sold out prior to the fights.
