PRESIDENT Nangolo Mbumba has called on the public to present any evidence linking him to the Fishrot scandal to the court.
The President was responding to PDM President Henry Venaani’s questions on whether he will be testifying in the Fishrot saga during the delivery of his State of the Nation Address (SONA) at Parliament on Thursday.
“If you have any evidence against me, approach the court with your evidence,” he said.
He added that if he is requested to testify in the matter, then he shall do it.
Moreover, President Mbumba indicated that he is accountable to the Namibian people; the Namibian people are his boss and he will always serve in their interest.
