A 14-YEAR-OLD boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging at Ohailombo village in the Oshikoto Region on Thursday.
According to Oshikoto Deputy Commissioner Wynand Neels, the incident occurred around 21:00 on Thursday.
Neels said that the deceased had been busy making dinner with his siblings before retiring to his room to sleep.
“He was not in his bedroom when his siblings called him for dinner after they had finished cooking. Later on, he was discovered in the same house hanging from a pole with a piece of cloth around his neck,” he said.
He added that the discovery was made by his 15-year-old cousin.
