The Southern African Broadcasting Association President Stanley Similo has emphasised the significance of credibility among media in a world where misinformation is easily accessible, particularly in the realm of broadcasting.
Similo addressed the just concluded SABA 30th Annual General Meeting and 67th Board Meeting in Zanzibar, Tanzania.

He also touched on the substantial influence of mobile devices, highlighting their role as not only phones but tools to shape the future of broadcasting.
As per the World Press Freedom Index, Namibia holds the 22nd position globally out of 180 countries, surpassing South Africa and the Seychelles.
Similo emphasised the significance of achieving a balanced approach to reporting.
