RUMP steak, boerewors, toffee sweets, bubble gum, Super Dip, cheese, cooking oil, and cash money were among the items stolen from a butchery in Nkurenkuru, Kavango West Region, during the night between Thursday and Friday.
The incident occurred at an unknown time when unknown burglars gained entry into the Makuzugamantenda Butchery by breaking a window glass and cutting the steel burglar bars.
They stole rump steak and boerewors, as well as 336 units of toffee sweets, 300 units of bubble gum, 60 units of Super Dip, 13 units of cheese, ten bottles of cooking oil (5 litres each), and a cash amount of N$3,167.96.
The Namibian police put the grand total of the stolen items at N$26,196.16.
Nothing was recovered, and no arrests have been made yet.
