The Director of the Nutrition and Food Security Alliance of Namibia, Benjamin Schernick says there is a need to address malnutrition as a national priority. Schernick talked about the alarming findings that 24 percent of Namibian children have been identified as stunted leading to economic losses of N$11 billion a year. This was reported by the Cost of Hunger in Africa on Social and Economic Impact of Child Undernutrition in Namibia 2022 report.
