The army in the Democratic Republic of Congo has announced the death of a leader of a notorious rebel group known as the Allied Democratic Forces. Meddie Nkalubo who was known as the “Punisher” was shot dead over the weekend in an offensive that the DRC army carried out jointly with troops from neighboring Uganda.
