Ugandan group Ghetto Kids will be one of the main acts at the MTC Teen Inspirational Summit to take place in Windhoek on 30 March.

The group is known for its impressive dance skills and has appeared in many international shows such as ‘America’s Got Talent’ and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.

The troupe was also a highlight of the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar.

The group has generated 447 million views on YouTube, and garnered 6,7 million followers on Instagram.

In a short statement, MTC says this year’s summit’s theme is ‘Be Your Own Hero’.

“Living under saturated housing conditions should have decreased the statistical chance of success due to the scarcity of resources.

“However, under the care of their manager, the Ghetto Kids were able to transform their lives through hard work and dedication. Through online traction, charisma and vivacious choreography, the Ghetto Kids have the world in the palm of their hand,” the statement reads.

The summit will also feature Grade 2 motivational speaker Christmas Mutota, better known as Dr Mutota.

DJ Escondido, Trompoppies, Banger Drums, Tangeni the Magician, Lilly, Jayd Pretorious, X-Mass, Sesfikile, Niamey Marcus, Billy Kiiyla, Samuel the Rapper, Rayne Sadler, Pretty G, Kevin the Violinist, Azmo and Miss Gideon will also be performing at the event. – unWrap.online
