Housebreaking incidents dominated and accounted for the highest number of cases.
In Omahenene, suspects got away with N$16,000 after they broke into a shebeen.
At Katima Mulilo, N$125,000 was stolen when suspects also broke into a house, while in Rehoboth items worth N$13,000 were also stolen following a break-in.
Road accidents came in second after housebreak-ins.

At Epukiro, a vehicle collided with a truck after failing to yield, resulting in the death of one passenger and injuries to another.
A car struck and killed a 10-year-old at Oshikuku. Six passengers were also injured at Ariamsvlei after the vehicle overturned, while in Otjiwarongo, multiple passengers were injured after a bus collided with a stationary truck’s trailer.
