The President of Independent Patriots for Change (IPC), Panduleni Iitula, has urged the electorate to carefully consider their future and their true desires before casting their votes.
Dr. Iitula made these remarks during the launch of the “Go Out and Vote” campaign at Walvis Bay over the weekend, where a crowd of IPC members gathered eagerly to hear from their leader.
He encouraged all Namibians to participate in the upcoming elections and vote for change, highlighting the need for increased employment opportunities, improved healthcare, quality education, and adequate housing.
Dr. Iitula also called on his party members to remain vigilant in the lead-up to the elections while staying true to their beliefs. He emphasized that it is their vote that will shape their future and well-being.
”Fellow Namibians, you cannot afford to vote for unemployment; you cannot afford to vote for hunger and poverty.”
Confident in his party’s chances in the presidential election, Dr. Iitula underscored the importance of a smooth transition of power.
”On the 21st of March, I would have loved our dear late president, Dr. Hage Gottfried Geingob, to be the one to hand over the instruments of power to me. However, I am certain that his dear friend and companion in the liberation struggle, His Excellency Dr. Nangolo Mbumba, will honor his legacy by doing just that.”
IPC’s Vice President, Trevino Forbes, urged attendees to vote for the betterment of themselves and their children.
”If you are serious about the well-being of your people, your country, and your resources, you will vote responsibly; you will vote for Dr. Iitula, and you will vote for Independent Patriots for Change. There is no other way.”
