JUST IN: Marcus Thomas and Kevin Townsend, the two Americans embroiled in a murder case for over a decade, were sentenced today by Judge Christie Liebenberg. They each received 27 years for the murder of young student Andre Hackmair in 2011. Additionally, they were sentenced to 4 years imprisonment each for robbery with aggravating circumstances. Accused 1, Marcus Thomas, was sentenced to 1 year imprisonment or a fine of N$1 000 for importing firearms without a permit, while accused 2 was given a six-month imprisonment or a N$1 000 fine.
