Kwaito artist Martin Morocky, better known as The Dogg or King Tee Dee, was arrested for drunk driving over the weekend at Ongwediva.
The police’s crime report said the artist was arrested on Sunday evening, however, due to a lack of space at Ongwediva Police Station holding cells, he was immediately transferred to Ondangwa Police Station.
At the station, Morocky was charged with drunk driving and was granted N$8 000 bail immediately upon arrest.
He appeared in the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court on Monday for a formal bail application.
