A 37-year-old man was arrested after being found in possession of cannabis worth nearly N$100 000.
Erongo Community Affairs officer, Inspector Ileni Shapumba, said the suspect was arrested on Friday at Ocean View Shell Service station, Swakopmund.
According to Shapumba, the suspect faces charges of Contravening Act 41/1971 Sec 2(a) Dealing in Cannabis, Alt: possession of cannabis.
“It is alleged that an undercover operation was conducted by the Police, and the suspect was arrested when he came to deliver,” he said.
Shapumba indicated that the suspect was caught with two large parcels of skunk cannabis weighing 1985 grams.
