INFORMATION has emerged that Kapule Ndaoya, the 42-year-old resident of Eenhana in the Ohangwena Region who killed his 31-year-old girlfriend earlier this month, had the intention of committing suicide afterwards but was gunned down by the police instead.
He was allegedly angered by DNA results that proved that he was not the biological father of his girlfriend’s two children.
He left a recorded message saying that he wanted to kill his wife immediately after the DNA results were released but postponed the heinous act indefinitely.
However, that fateful day, his girlfriend Eve Leena Kalimbo allegedly angered him when she threatened him with a knobkirrie, he reacted by hitting her very hard and only when he noticed that he injured her seriously, did he decide to kill her and then kill himself because he was not prepared to serve a prison term.
An audio recording that has just surfaced revealed that after killing Kalimbo, Ndaoya phoned an unidentified relative and requested that he record their conversation.
He told him that he has just killed Kalimbo and is going to commit suicide as close as possible to the residence of a senior politician in the region, whom he accused of having a secret affair with Kalimbo and was the real father of her two children, aged 2 and 7.
Ndaoya was shot when he was allegedly trying to fight the police with a knife and gun.
