MTC boosts Lüderitz Crayfish Festival

Speaking during the official handover recently, MTC Corporate Affairs Manager John Ekongo said the festival is arguably one of the fastest-growing in the country, and MTC is honoured to be contributing to its growth.

Ekongo indicated that this is the 8th time in a row that they have partnered with the festival.

“We recognize the growth attained by the Lüderitz Crayfish Festival over the years, and we are honoured to be part of the journey that unlocks settings that drive business and entrepreneurship for greater socio-economic welfare,” he said.

Ekongo commended the leadership of the Lüderitz Town Council, while urging for innovative approaches that will continue to grow and keep the festival relevant on the calendar.

“We have witnessed the transformative growth of the festival, and we expect the organizers to perpetually embrace innovation in order to keep attracting Namibians to the coastal town,” he added.

He then thanked the organizing committee for allowing them to sponsor and be part of the event once again.

Annually, MTC commits a total of N$875,000 in sponsorships to various trade shows across the country.

This is done with the purpose of ensuring that they continue impacting the social and economic development initiatives positively.
