Namibia launches firearm amnesty campaign



HitRadio has reported on the launch of a firearm amnesty campaign taking place from September 1 to 30. During this period, individuals are encouraged to voluntarily surrender unlicensed firearms without the risk of facing criminal charges. However, Safety and Security Minister, Albert Kawana says those who fail to surrender illegal firearms by 30 September 30 will be subject to prosecution under national laws.
