President Nangolo Mbumba has urged Namibians to share and care for one another under the banner of “One Namibia, One Nation” and remember the children, the elderly, and vulnerable communities.
Dr. Mbumba says Namibians should view Christmas not only as a time to receive but as an opportunity to give to those in need and spread love and generosity through acts of kindness and charitable initiatives.
The President appealed to Namibians to not forget those who continue to work tirelessly to keep the nation safe and functioning.
This, he says, while many are enjoying a well-deserved break during the festive period.
The Head of State further applauded the essential workers across various sectors, including men and women in uniform, extending his deepest gratitude.
As many Namibians make their way to holiday destinations, Dr. Mbumba urges them to exercise caution on the roads.
Another plea he issued was for the avoidance of drinking and driving to prevent accidents, adhere to traffic rules and regulations, and celebrate responsibly and safely.
