The Landless People’s Movement (LPM) will bring changes and transformation if voted to power and envisions implementing a robust socio-economic framework that promotes inclusive growth and development and empowers citizens.
LPM held a community engagement at Oniipa in the Oshikoto Region.
Referring to itself as the only vehicle ready to change Namibia for the better, LPM’s manifesto speaks to the reality of young people with a call for 70% of employment to be given to the youth.
“We have to go out on the 27th of November to vote for none other than the LPM, and we will have an opportunity to vote for a presidential candidate. We will vote for none other than Bernadus Swartbooi. Why? Because LPM has built a party that has a national brand for all, LPM has built a party where all Namibians should feel a part of,” said LPM Operative Secretary Dawid Eigub.
LPM wants young people to liberate themselves economically, but it says that can only be achieved if they vote for its leader Bernadus Swartbooi on 27 November.
“As LPM, we believe in the principles of restoring our people’s dignity. We managed to restore those young people, and now they have decided that they will vote for LPM come the 27th of November,” said LPM Lead Yoouth Commander, Duminga Ndala.
The party has vowed to create employment opportunities by investing in infrastructure, marketing, training, and community-based tourism through women and youth enterprises.
The party is fighting for economic inclusion and social justice for all Namibians.
