THE Namibian police have announced that the Vehicle Registering and Clearing System is once again operational after it was reported to be malfunctioning countrywide on 20 September.
The recent interruption in the system had left vehicle owners and clearing agents in a state of limbo as they were unable to access the essential services provided by the Vehicle Registering and Clearing System.
With the Vehicle Registering and Clearing System now back in action, vehicle owners can once again visit the nearest police station to complete their registrations and clearances. The authorities have not specified the cause of the system’s downtime, but they have assured the public that all necessary steps have been taken to prevent future disruptions.
