NAMWATER has brought out all its gear for the 3rd National Skills Competition taking place in Ongwediva, in the Oshana Region.
The National Skills Competition started today and will conclude on 30 September 2023.
As an exhibitor, Namwater’s Heavy Plant Operator Training Officer (HPO), Kariapua Iyambo, said they are offering heavy equipment demonstrations on various heavy plant machinery and providing more information on the NamWater Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC).
Iyambo explained that this will equip the students with the knowledge of how to best operate the machines and ensure their safety.
He mentioned that this initiative will build the students’ confidence and experience in the field they wish to pursue.
