Likius Nande clinched his second golf title in two months, when he won the Club Championship at the Windhoek Golf & Country Club over the weekend.
Nande won the overall prize after a best gross score of 141, while Ester Emvula had the overall best nett score of 140.
His latest triumph follows on the Windhoek Open sponsored by Ongos Valley, that he won at the same venue on 15 October.
Charles Lohmann won the A division best gross category with a score of 146, while Alfie Ndyenge had the A division best nett score of 141.
Travor Mabugu won the B division best gross category with a total of 166, while Monty Rukoro had the B division best nett score of 141.
Aldo Beukes had the C division best gross score of 173, while Paul Grobler had the C division best nett score of 144.
Sesilia Nkoshi was the women’s best gross champion with a score of 196, while Claris Chipfupa had the women’s best nett score of 140.
Stefan Bergh won the junior category with a score of 171.
The nearest to the pin winners were Francois Grobler on the ninth hole, and Peter Nghinyotwa on the 13th hole.
A total of 56 players competed in the tournament which was 12 more than the 44 who competed last year.
The Windhoek Golf & Country Club will host the Kunene Catering Services Gold Cup this coming weekend on 25 and 26 November.
