The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) is intensifying its efforts to engage with both new and existing stakeholders in a move that emphasizes its commitment to fostering economic growth and development in Namibia.
As part of its strategic initiative, the NCCI Secretariat is actively exploring potential areas of collaboration that promise mutual benefits and enhanced partnerships across various sectors.
In a significant step towards realizing this goal, the NCCI recently convened a meeting with Sepo Haihambo, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of First National Bank’s Commercial Banking.
This engagement, held at the NCCI Head Office, was centred on discussing opportunities for collaboration, with a keen focus on leveraging the strengths of both organizations to support Namibia’s economic development agenda.
Charity Mwiya, the CEO of NCCI while stressing the importance of stakeholders in the chamber’s operations said: “At the NCCI, stakeholders are central to everything we do. From the members we serve directly by delivering the valuable services they need, to the communities in which we operate and everything in between, our stakeholders are important to us.”
She further highlighted the chamber’s commitment to building strong, trusted connections that foster broad-supported solutions.
The meeting between NCCI and FNB Namibia’s Commercial Banking executive is a testament to the chamber’s dedication to engaging in fruitful discussions that strengthen strategic alliances.
Such collaborations are not only aimed at enhancing the chamber’s service delivery but also at promoting a unified approach to addressing the challenges and opportunities within Namibia’s economic landscape.
Mwiya said that by fostering these critical partnerships, the NCCI strengthens its role as an essential player in Namibia’s economic development, ensuring that the interests and needs of its members and the broader community are adequately represented and addressed.
She added that the chamber’s proactive stance in seeking out and developing relationships with key stakeholders like FNB Namibia reflects a forward-thinking approach to driving sustainable economic growth and prosperity for all Namibians.
