WINDHOEK, July 25 — The Annual Medical Congress 2023 concluded on 22 July, with a resounding success, symbolizing the strong partnership between Nedbank Namibia and the Medical Association of Namibia (MAN). Hosted at the prestigious Windhoek Country Club, the two-day event brought together over 250 healthcare professionals, leading experts, and prominent researchers from Namibia and beyond. The congress aimed to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and drive advancements in the field of medicine.

Themed “Medicine TODAY into TOMORROW,” the Congress sparked thought-provoking conversations and debates on critical issues impacting the medical fraternity. With more than 20 engaging sessions, notable presentations included “Hereditary Cancer Genetics 101” by Dr. Maureen Conradie and Robyn Barlow, and “Gender Diversity – Supporting Gender-Diverse Youth” by Dr. Simon Pickstone-Taylor.

The Congress served as an enlightening platform for participants, addressing current healthcare challenges while shedding light on the future of medicine. It skillfully blended clinical expertise with forward-thinking strategies, providing healthcare professionals with valuable insights to implement effective practices in their respective fields.
