The University of Science and Technology (NUST) Eenhana campus has received significant support from various donors, including the Nandi-Ndaitwah Family Trust and the Association of Diplomatic Spouses.

The Nandi-Ndaitwah Family Trust donated books to the campus library, while the Association of Diplomatic Spouses contributed N$100,000 to the Student Welfare Fund. This funding will be used to provide financial assistance, resources, and scholarships to students in need across all NUST campuses.

These donations underscore the university’s commitment to providing accessible, quality education to students in northern Namibia.

In a statement, it is said the books the Nandi-Ndaitwah Family trust donated were valued at N$70 000, to enhance the library’s collection.

“While the Namibia Scientific Society’s Kuiseb Publishers donated over 60 books, and Reconnaissance Energy Africa Ltd provided reading material developed from an energy conference held earlier this year,” the statement added.

Vice Chancellor Professor Erold Naomab said the donors generosity speaks volumes about their commitment to education and the future of the young people in the country.

The Eenhana campus currently offers programmes in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Computing and informatics, and Agriculture and Horticulture, among others.

In 2022, the Billy William Mwaningange Rural Development Centre was availed by the Ohangwena Regional Council and now serves as the university’s modern campus facility. The Eenhana Town Council has further provided land measuring over 21 hectares to construct the campus..
