PRESIDENT Nangolo Mbumba has arrived in Keetmanshoop in the //Karas Region to convene a meeting with traditional leaders from the Hardap and //Karas regions.
This has been confirmed by the Namibian Presidency, which further revealed that the president has a number of other activities scheduled while he is in the South until Sunday.
These activities include officiating at the University of Namibia (UNAM) Southern Campus Graduation in his capacity as Chancellor of UNAM, scheduled for tomorrow, 5 April 2024. This will be followed by a meeting between the President and executives of the Namibian Institute of Mining and Technology (NIMT) tomorrow.
The Namibian Presidency also revealed that on Saturday, 6 April 2024, President Mbumba will engage with the leadership of Lüderitz and visit the Green Hydrogen Projects. His trip will then conclude with a visit to Shark Island on Sunday, 7 April 2024.
