President Mbumba to undertake State Visit in Botswana

PRESIDENT Nangolo Mbumba is embarking on a State Visit to Botswana today.

This was confirmed by the Namibian Presidency, which revealed that the president will depart for Botswana this afternoon.

While in Botswana, President Mbumba will also attend the Memorial Service held by Botswana in honour of the late President Hage Geingob. The service will take place in Gaborone at the Gaborone International Conference Centre tomorrow, 13 March, from 8:00.

“Cabinet ministers and senior government officials from both Botswana and Namibia, as well as members from the Diplomatic Corpse, will also attend the occasion,” Botswana’s Deputy Permanent Secretary of Government Communications in the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, William Sentshébeng, said.
