Media professionals from sixteen African nations embarked on a cinematic journey during their familiarisation trip to India.

The delegation visited the renowned Ramoji Film City, recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2005 as the world’s largest film studio complex, sprawling across 674 hectares.

Ramoji Film City serves not only as a hub for Indian film productions but also extends a warm welcome to Hollywood and international film companies. Jay Lele, Guest Relations Associate, described the film city as a magical destination, having hosted over 3000 movies since 1998.

For the African media delegation, the film city provided an immersive experience, allowing them to explore elaborate sets and witness behind-the-scenes magic, offering a unique insight into the intricacies of Indian filmmaking.

The full-day tour left the delegation inspired by the harmonious blend of tradition and modernity within the Indian film industry.

The experience concluded with the delegation expressing astonishment and appreciation for the scale and creativity that define Ramoji Film City as a global hub for cinematic innovation.
