A SUSPECT who allegedly stole plastic chairs from a shack in the Onaitembu village in the Outapi Constituency of the Omusati Region has been arrested, but the stolen items have not yet been recovered. It is alleged that the shack’s door was closed but not locked when the suspected thief gained entry and stole four black plastic chairs valued at N$240.
In a separate incident, also in the Outapi Constituency, an unknown burglar broke into a shebeen in the Okayekongwe location of Outapi town, unlocked a jukebox, and took out an unknown amount of coins, 24 bottles of beer valued at N$600, as well as other items. The stolen items were not recovered, and the suspect was not arrested and remains unknown.
