A Tanzanian man (37) is due to appear in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday after he was arrested with 24,4kg of cannabis.
He was arrested on Sunday at around 20h00 at Windhoek’s northern industrial area.
Reporting the incident, Namibian Police chief inspector Elifas Kuwinga said a truck coming in from South Africa and was intercepted and searched.
“Three big parcels of cannabis were discovered during the search, all valued at N$1,2 million,” reported Kuwinga.
