THRIFTY Car Rental has been rebranded to SANI Car Rental following its recent acquisition by the Springs Car Wholesalers Group (SCW).
The car rental service will now operate as franchises under the SANI Car Rental brand in Namibia and South Africa.
According to SANI Car Rental’s Communication team, the company deeply values its strong ties within the Namibian and South African markets. The Communications team further stressed that, with close to three decades of dedicated service in the car rental sector, the SANI Car Rental brand has continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of customers. They added that the latest transition represents a pivotal moment for their esteemed customers.
This was further reiterated by the Managing Director of SANI Car Rental, Imraan Moolla, who said that the rebranding symbolises a dynamic transformation in SANI’s identity and trajectory, showcasing the brand’s dedication to innovation, expansion, and customer contentment. He emphasized that the name change isn’t just symbolic; it’s a bold leap toward shaping the future of mobility in both regions.
“This strategic move empowers us to raise the bar in our service standards, expand our offerings, and reaffirm our dedication to delivering unparalleled customer satisfaction,” he said.
Moolla revealed that SANI Car Rental boasts a network of 20 branches, including locations at all major local and international airports, supported by a fleet of over 10,000 vehicles.
