THE late Noah Lyaalala Tuhadeleni, former and founding Councillor of Endola, has been accorded an official funeral by President Nangolo Mbumba.
This comes after a recommendation was made to the President by the National Honours Advisory Committee, following Tuhadeleni’s passing at the Rundu Private Hospital nearly two weeks ago.
Tuhadeleni died at the age of 74.
A public memorial service will be held on Wednesday, followed by a State Memorial service on Thursday.
He will then be laid to rest at the Eenhana Memorial Shrine on Friday.
The late Tuhadeleni served as the Endola Constituency Councillor from 1992 to 2004 and was also a member of Parliament and the National Council from 1998 to 2004.
From 2005 to 2012, he served as the regional advisor to then-Ohangwena Governor Usko Nghaamwa.
He is survived by his wife, six children, and three siblings.
