TWO residents of the Ongwediva/Oshakati area in the Oshana Region lost their vehicles last night. One vehicle was pushed from where it was parked by the owner, while the other was taken at knifepoint by unknown robbers.
According to the police, a yellow Toyota R15 with registration number N10704UP was stolen from the owner’s residence in the Okandjengedi informal settlement of Oshakati last night. Tracks at the scene indicated that the vehicle was pushed out and then driven away by two suspects.
The other incident happened in Ongwediva’s Extension Eleven early this morning when two suspects threatened the female driver of a white Toyota pickup (N3332SH) with a knife, dragged her from the vehicle, and drove it away.
The vehicle, worth N$280,000, belonged to Namupala Sebastian, but at the time of the incident, it was driven by his wife.
