THE Namibian police in the Khomas Region are investigating a case of livestock theft after unknown thieves shot and killed four head of cattle and left another one wounded and in agony.
The incident occurred at Farm 109 in the Omitara area on Friday morning.
It is alleged that the suspects shot and killed the cattle alongside the fence of the farm camp. They slaughtered three animals and loaded the carcasses into a vehicle.
The fourth cattle was shot and killed, but the thieves left it behind. Yet another cattle was shot and wounded.
The total value of the five animals is estimated at N$92 000.
No one has been arrested yet. The police investigations continue.
