Volunteers wanted for late President Geingob’s funeral assistance

A TOTAL of 100 volunteers are needed to assist with the funeral arrangements for late President Hage Geingob, who passed away two weeks ago at the Lady Pohamba Private Hospital.

In an urgent notice issued by George Simataa, Secretary to the Cabinet, it was indicated that the Khomas Regional Council has facilitated the sourcing of 100 volunteers, comprising 50 men and 50 women.

Simataa specified that volunteers should be hardworking, energetic, and mature unemployed youth from all Khomas Regional constituencies to assist during the preparations for President Geingob’s funeral arrangements.

Those interested are requested to send their names and ID numbers to [email protected] on or before Tuesday.

President Geingob will be laid to rest on Sunday at the Heroes Acre.
