Governor of the Ohangwena region, Sebastian Ndeitunga, has requested people to stand together in solidarity as they mourn late president Hage Geingob.
Ndeitunga was speaking at Eenhana in the Ohangwena region during a candlelight vigil at the town’s sports complex on Wednesday evening.
“We have lost an exceptional individual, but we have the opportunity to honour his life and legacy by continuing his mission of promoting unity, inclusion and solidarity. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate his remarkable achievements and strive to follow in his footsteps to create a better world for future generations,” Ndeitunga said.
